ABSS
Logo design for a new business starting up in Selby. The brief was to produce a simple yet abstract design based around the letter 'A'. The colour scheme matches that of another business under the same ownership.
Gig sketches
The illustrations below are from a self written university brief in which i tried to capture the energy of the bands performance as an illustration. These were based on photographs

K. Lee & Co
Commissioned brochure for Lincoln based Building surveyor K. Lee & Co. Ltd. Listing the available services company information, examples of work and contact details. Here is the front cover along with one of the double page spreads.
Magma
This project was set by the Magma book store in Manchester . I had to produce some promotional posters and two large illustration boards to go either side of the shop front. Magma is Manchester's main store selling designs books and products, so I based my concept around Magma being a source of inspiration. The designs represent the growth of an idea, a sudden burst of inspiration, stimulation of them mind and teamwork.

Thriller
A University Brief required me to produce a poster for an event at one of Manchester's theaters. I chose Thriller and based my design around one of Michael Jackson's Iconic dance moves. The simplicity of the blood red trousers against the white background makes the poster jump out at the viewer.

Hand study
Hands are something I have always enjoyed drawing. I like how there seems to be an unlimited range of gestures and shapes that you can create with your hand. I compiled some of my hand sketches into a poster called 'An Average Day' showing some of the various activities a typical student may get up to during the day.
Flash
I have always been a big fan of tattoo flash and when im not producing my own it still shows through in my other illustrative work. The japanese koi and snake are timeless iconic designs that I never seem to get tired of recreating.
Dub Kulture
Logo and poster designs for a popular club night in Doncaster called Dub Kulture.
The club owner wanted colourful illustrated posters creating to stand out against the typically clean photoshopped posters most clubs seem to produce. A new design was created for each monthly event.

Crank It Up!
An experimental typeface called 'Crank' influenced by the volume and tone controls
found on guitar amplifiers.
Dimention
An experimental typeface focusing on the different dimensions of letters. Each showing a different dimension than the one before. The poster design illustrates the mathematical grid used to create the font.
The Circus is coming to town!
A brief completed at University to design a poster for a made up circus called 'The Curious Spectacle'. I chose to focus on the instantly recognizable Ring Leader character with a very simplistic and stereotypical approach.
Movie Nights
A band from Brighton called Way Tangent asked me to produce a simple retro themed A3 poster to promote their upcoming release 'Movie Nights' around their University. The design was also used as a fold out booklet for the CD.

Tools of the Trade
I was asked to produce an illustration to be part of a small exhibition on the letter 'X'. There was no brief other than it must represent the shape of the letter. I based the illustration around the two main tools I use when drawing.
